Needing Prayers...

My sister and her family are in need of our prayers...

This is a quick summary of whats been going on with them since Peyton was born on July 3rd:

*They found out that Peyton was born with a hole in one of the valves in his heart

*Brandee had gall bladder surgery

*Peyton has colic, he also has a problem with the flapper in his esophagus [he will grow out of] which causes him to make gaging noises...he just got over an ear infection and now he's starting to teeth early

*Terry has a hernia and is going in for surgery

*Brandee is trying to pass a kidney stone

AND

They just found out this morning that Peyton has a double hernia and he too has to have surgery!!

She's so overwhelmed right now and all she can do is cry...

Please pray for strength...

Please Pray With Me...

My friend Dale has been battling pancreatic cancer :*[
He told me last night that there's nothing more they can do for him and Hospice is now involved...

My heart breaks!

I pray that God will bless what time he has left with his family and friends...

Needing Prayer...

Family and Friends...

our Brittani is sick again :*(

She was back at the doctor again this morning and she has another viral infection...she's sicker now than she was 2 weeks ago. She's not even able to build herself up before she gets sick again.

This is finals week for her...need I say more?

My heart aches for her...she's worked so stinkin hard to get finished but it's been nothing but sickness since October!

Please help me lift her in prayer...
I pray that God will heal her fully...
physically, mentally and spiritually...

We don't understand the what and why...
but we have to hold on to the knowledge that GOD is in control!

Brittani's back at the doctor...

He's testing her for mono (again), strep, thyroid, x-rays for the pain in her back and another series of blood tests to try and figure out what is going on!

She really needs our prayers...

***UPDATE***

As of right now Britt doesn't have mono but he can't rule out that she didn't have it...she still has a couple of infections along with pharyngitis (again) ...plus there are a couple more tests we're waiting on. She has an appointment the first of January to see a specialist.

Right now her body is in serious need of sleep!!

IT'S OFFICIAL!!

After 3 "positive" pregnancy tests...

MY SISTER'S GONNA HAVE A BABY!!!!!!

She made the announcement at Thanksgiving
and blew us all away!

After 8 years of trying both on their own and through invetro...God blessed them and they were able to do it on their own!!

She's going Thursday to see a high risk doctor...
We need to PRAY PRAY PRAY that she's able to carry this baby full term!

I'm soooo happy for them...God is so good!!!

Asking for prayer...

I immediately thought of Brittani when I saw this sign...

She's so overwhelmed with school (Bethel)...school (Notre Dame)...work (this covers all her jobs) and life....which"Life" right now is school and work! She's really struggling to stay well and the stress right now is pretty heavy. She's been warned by the doctors on how stress plays a huge role in weakening her immune system...
so she has to take care of herself!

I wish I could help and take some of the load off but I can't...
what I can do is PRAY!!
I ask our family and friends to join me in lifting Brittani up in prayer...

I am ready for serenity and solutions to adapt to the changes in my life.

I thank you now in advance because I believe you are an awesome God.

Instead of wishing, whining, weeping, feeling weak, weary and worried, I will worship my way back to wholeness.

Instead of a breakdown, I'm grateful for my breakthrough.

Thank you Lord for leading me to this prayer that speaks to my heart.

I'm ready for my healing and deliverance.

Thank you Lord for working it out.

It is so. It is done. It is all right with my soul.

I exhale now trusting you Lord as I walk away from temptation, depression and the stronghold of the enemy.

Your divine law operates within me as I speak, think and act with faith, love and courage.

I stand on your promises as you cover me with your protection and provision. My trust in you Lord allows me to exhale the stress, worry and shame.

Divine Spirit, I am encouraged now and will press on in the name of Jesus and all that is holy and true.

Thomas Banicki has gone home...

I just received a call from my friend Ron...sadly his baby brother Tom passed away this morning. It was the end of April that Tom was diagnosed with a very rare cancer.
Tom was only 38 and the father of 4 children.

This has been very devastating...
Please pray for the family

Why???

...does abuse have to exist???

I was coming through downtown on my way to work this morning when I saw this couple walking together...he had his arm around her shoulder. Then all of a sudden he started choking her and began dragging her down a side street. I wasn't sure if it was for real or if they were just goofin around so I cut down the next side street and drove by them again...she was crying and when she saw me, the look on her face said it all.

I immediately called the police as I made my way back around the block again to see where he was taking her and to give the cops a description...this time he saw me on the phone...I didn't know what to do (this was a short one-way dead end street) so I slowed down acting like I was looking for a house and he kept going. I was able to give the cops a complete description of them both and she said they were on their way. At this point I was torn whether or not to continue following them...I thought if he saw me again that he might take off between the houses at the dead end. I started towards work and passed a cop...I prayed that he would get there in time!!!

I called the police again when I got to work to see if they found them but they hadn't yet...

I'm so sick to my stomach...now I feel that I didn't do the right thing by staying :*{

I pray that God will keep her safe!!!

I was at the post office today and as I was leaving the window a man grabbed me...when I turned around it was Ted...Vivian's husband.
The look in his eye's answered my question...

See...
Ted's been a customer of ours for years but I never knew how to pronounce his last name (you'd think since we're both Polish that wouldn't be a problem) anyway when it was first announced that Vivian was missing I couldn't shake that I knew her. Her picture was posted at the hotel and I'd see it right in front of me every weekend for 3 months. Then when the news announced that she was found...I caught a quick glimpse of Ted in one of the photos...
that's when it hit me as to how I knew her :*(

Ted was usually the one to come in to get his stuff but on occasion Vivian would stop in...
she was such a beautiful woman both inside and out!!

My heart just broke as I stood there today listening as to how everything unfolded...and what his life was like everyday during those 3 months of not knowing if she was dead or alive. He told me that they found her a few days before their 31st wedding anniversary...
the love that this man has for her runs very very deep!

This family is deeply hurting...

Needing Prayer

Urgent prayer is needed for Tom Banicki...

Ron (Tom's brother) is one of our customers...and a special friend. I spoke with him yesterday and the news isn't good! Tom had been experiencing back pain and went to the doctor for tests...they couldn't find anything. After the pain became worse he went for a 2nd opinion...this is what's happened in the last 3 weeks:

1) After seeing another doctor they found 2 tumors in his pelvis and told him that he has Stage 4 cancer

2) After more tests they found another tumor in his heart and immediately started him on blood thinners

3) The other morning he woke up and told his wife that something was wrong and to call an ambulance...his head felt like it was going to explode...they rushed him to the ER and found that he had a brain hemorrhage and that he has 2 more tumors in the back of his head

They performed surgery and right now they have him in an induced coma...they said it doesn't look good...Tom is only 37 years old and has 4 children!

Sadly the day that Tom was diagnosed with this very rare cancer...his Dad who's had Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma found out that his cancer has now rapidly advanced :*(

This family needs our prayers...they truly need a miracle!!!

UPDATE AS OF 3PM...

I just found out that some of the swelling in Tom's brain has gone down and they're slowly bringing him out of the coma. One side of his body has reacted to a pin prick but the other side still has no movement. I'll keep the updates coming as soon as I hear!!
